Overwhelming emotions flowed through his body and out his eyes, feeling helpless and alone, knowing nothing he could say would make this stop.

And It was much too late to get away….
Kidnapped by strange pirates who were not all they seemed, he could do nothing more than sit and watch his freedom slowly pull away from his hands, the view of his island growing smaller and smaller with every passing minute.
Grian was helpless to defend himself, promised to a king to pay the debt he had nothing to do with. The Avian screamed and fought against his binds, but his efforts could not stop the fast approaching horrors waiting for him on the frozen Northern soil.
And still the boat sailed on, into the dark waters ahead…
