He had argued for his former apprentice till the Council relented. It is a rare public show of affection and stark loyalty on his behalf. It has shattered the pinnacle of Palpatine's plan. Anger drowns into Palpatine's veins as he remembers that the supposed Chosen One is yet to become his Sith apprentice. Skywalker is the tool to much that he desired, a man who would wipe out the Jedi and bring his new Empire.
Au; what if Anakin went to Utapau while Obi-Wan remained behind in the Jedi Temple?
