Summary
He leaned up on his tiptoes so he could kiss Lawrence’s forehead, smiling uncontrollably against his skin. The vulnerability and near-submission in the doctor’s voice was tugging at his gut, twisting with intriguing heat through his veins. “Wanna take your clothes off for me?”
At that, Lawrence paused. “In…in front of the mirror?”
“Would you be more comfortable in the bedroom? Easier for your back?”
“No, I– I’m fine here. It isn’t a comfort thing– well, it’s…it is, in a way, I suppose.” Lawrence sighed; Adam could see the tinge of pink spreading over his face. “It’s just…Christ, Adam, you’re so lovely. You’re absolutely perfect. And I’m…well.” He let out a self-effacing laugh, and Adam’s heart twisted a little. “If we made love in front of the mirror, I-I think I’d somewhat ruin the view.”
He leaned in to kiss him again, but Adam put up a hand, stopping him in place. “Hold on. Pause.” Lawrence opened his eyes, lips still pressed to Adam’s palm, brows quirking curiously. “Lawrence, what the fuck are you talking about?”
