Summary
Jeon Jeongguk has earned himself a reputation amongst petty thugs and gangs as an efficient runner, and in a city where crime and corruption rule the streets from the shadows and eye-colour determines the societal hierarchy, having power and wealth is necessary for survival. "Are you scared?" Jeongguk asks, and though his tone is gentle, the subtle tilt of his lips forms a grin that shows what little sympathy he'd have if Jimin actually were. "It would be natural to be afraid of someone who could do something like this," he points out, motioning to the body on the slab.
"Allegedly," Jimin corrects in an unimpressed monotone. "You are maintaining your innocence, after all."
That smile widens, showing teeth.
"Of course," Jeongguk agrees with an incline of his head, the mask he takes on exuding charm when he agrees, "Allegedly."

As bodies begin to pile up, the investigation leads him to someone already close to the case.

“You sure about that?” Jeongguk questioned, rubbing his nose up and down the side of Jimin’s neck. “Your scent says otherwise.”
“I said. Fuck. Off.” Jimin gritted out, angry spit flying out. Much of it landing on Jeongguk, who didn’t flinch. Only smirked, licking Jimin’s spit from his lips. Jimin might have realized the erotic gesture if he wasn’t so encumbered by rage, staring into Jeongguk’s black, piercing eyes. There was nothing doe-like or innocent about them in this moment.
Jeongguk chuckled, easily pulling his hands free but he didn’t try to wrestle with Jimin anymore. Instead his palms grazed up Jimin’s legs, resting on his hips.
“Oh, I like this.”

Jimin is a scrappy Omega with unresolved anger issues. After a lifetime of fighting, he's worked his way up from the underground to a legitimate gym, where he'll fight professionally.
