“You almost kissed me onstage today,” Bible said quietly, the words finally spilling from his mouth as Build began removing his jewelry and placing it on the dresser.
“Hm?” Build turned to him, his head cocked, his hands working at the earring in his ear.
Bible swallowed and placed his bag down on the bed next to Build’s. He spoke louder this time. “You almost kissed me onstage today.”
Bible’s heart fluttered at the grin that spread across Build’s face as he removed his other earring and set them both down. “Did I?” he asked innocently.
