Summary
After Arthur asks the one question Linus can't answer ("Why didn't you save them?"), Linus finds himself spiraling, as he is so often wont to do. But this time feels different. What if, this time, forgiveness begins with a single act of courage?

Summary
This is some kind of essay I wrote about the French and Spanish translations of The House in the Cerulean Sea, because I love this book, and I love translation, so why not mix the two?
You don't have to speak either of these languages to understand what I explain (or at least you shouldn't have to if I've done my job well...)This analysis focuses especially on the use of formal/informal "you" pronouns in French and Spanish.

Summary
at the start of hounds of baskerville sherlock comes home covered in blood. “you went on the tube like that?” “none of the cabs would take me!”
well what if sherlock couldn’t wash himself up… maybe there’s no hot water, maybe the blood drying in his hair is too unbearable for the detective who has particularly sensitive follicles (at least benedict cumberbatch does and since he plays him i’m gonna go with it :) ) and since john has nothing going on at the moment except his newspaper, he’s happy to help.
scalp massages and rather embarrassing reactions to them ensue. enjoy!
