“I know you like to think the best of people, but you don't know them like I do,” Kal broke in, “I know you remember Lex and I used to be best friends, just like you and Lena used to be. For years Lex seemed to be nothing but an upstanding businessman and humanitarian, until one day he wasn't. It wasn't until it was too late that I realized he might never have been my friend at all. I know you have a hard time accepting the same might be true of Lena, but I don't want you making the same mistake I made.”
Kara took special care in returning her belongings to her bag, careful not to break anything, before taking a deep breath and responding, “I know how you feel about them, Kal, but Lena doesn't read that way to me. Not when I met her, not for the years we were friends, and not now.”
Or
Season 2 if Kara and Lena had met years previously and were friends for years before everything went down between Superman and Lex. Kal and Alex are sure that Lena will eventually follow the same path as Lex, but Kara is convinced that she knows better.

Summary
“You know she’ll never feel the same way about you,” Mon-El says, pulling his eyes away from Kara.
He’s trying to hurt her. Lena could laugh. As if he could. She’s a Luthor for crying out loud.
“Never. You have to know that?” he implores.
She smiles. “I’m the smartest person in every room I enter. I have three PhDs and I run a billion dollar company. I’m not a figurehead either, I manage the day-to-day operations. It sucks.”
He opens his mouth to interrupt, to tell her that none of those things make her worthy of Kara’s love. To point out everything she’s left out. Her namesake. Her past. But she simply raises her hand.
“Of course, I know, Mon-El. I’m not in the habit of ignorance. Why would I start now?”
OR
Kara and Mon-El are a couple. Lena tries to get over it. But her stupid dumb heart can’t stop beating for the blonde Kryptonian. And if she can’t have her, well she’ll be damned if she doesn’t at least help the asshole who can.

Lena decides to ‘My Fair Lady’ Mon-El. She’s running a course for one student: Care and Feeding of your friendly neighbourhood Kryptonian.

A perpetually WIP tale of political intrigue, magic. Flashbacks, old enemies, new friends, and true love. Set in Season 2 with a slight resemblence to the show. Multiple plot lines. OCs, and re-examined charecters bring an entirely new dynamic to Storybrooke.
A reluctant savior, an ex-evil queen, a werewolf-waitress, an adventurous librarian, a loyal warrior, and a princess in search of an identity all come together for an epic adventure that Storybrooke may not survive.
Explicit scenes and triggers will be noted per chapter as applicable. Updates are a bit spotty.

I am Supergirl.
