Summary
The first time Peter Parker meets (some of) the Avengers, it's in a sewer and/or warehouse-he wasn't able to get a good look at the place, sue him for his uncertainty-after he had (apparently) gotten kidnapped.
The first time the Avengers meet Spider-Man, he's calling them jerkwads from the top of Hawkeye's roof... according to Hawkeye. In Peter's humble opinion, rooftops are communical property among vigilantes, especially during alien invasions.
OR
Seven times the Avengers were confused about Spider-Man's identity, and one time his identity was revealed.
(A story told over the course of seventeen years, seven different world-ending catastrophes, and a kidnapping.)

Summary
Steve runs right into May Parker during his mad dash away from SHIELD. He just woke up in a new century, he's scared, grieving, and completely alone. May Parker takes one look at him and decides she is going to help. Steve is given the chance to find his footing before the Battle of New York and thus the Avengers begin on a much better note.
Or: May Parker falls in love with Steve's cute face and adopts him on the spot. Peter gains a brother and the Avengers an overprotective Aunt with a baseball bat.

Summary
Steve shifted his attention to her and the two of them shared a look. Whatever he seemed to be looking for in her endless green eyes, he didn’t find. He sighed, giving up. The captain opened his mouth, about to say something when the doors to the lab slid open and he was interrupted with a sob.
Their heads snapped in that direction, instantly on alert.
Steve watched confused as Agent Coulson walked in, a crying child in his hands, both looking distressed. He glanced at Banner, expecting to find some form of regnesion on the man’s face but he found nothing. The man looked as confused as Steve felt. Natasha didn’t seem affected at all either. She remained expressionless as always, eyes trained on the crying child. A well hidden flash of curiosity appeared momentarily on her face, Steve barely caught it.
“What happened?” Tony asked, sounding panicked. He rushed to step forward, putting his hands out to accept the crying boy into his own arms.
