Ace died protecting Luffy, his brother at Marineford and now he was in hell. It was the only explanation since he was in front of his father, Gol D. Roger on the Oro Jackson.
Or maybe life gave him a second chance. A chance to prevent a war before it happens. A chance to prevent his birth and make sure Luffy, Marco, and the rest of his family would be safe and sound.
Maybe Ace could convince his mom, Portgas D. Rouge not to have him and save her too. Ace just hoped she would like him.
