Lei gli dice, sporgendosi sul tavolo per stringergli la mano. Non ha bisogno di appellarsi al suo intelletto per riconoscere che il tono è sarcastico, e che sta cercando di metterlo a disagio.
Hanno gli occhi di tutti addosso quando Mycroft le stringe la mano e risponde:

Si impone il più possibile di essere l’uomo politico che è capace di interpretare, e si spinge a guardarla lo stretto necessario per non far sembrare che la stia ignorando, ma lei, invece… Continua a fissarlo tutto il tempo, perché vuole metterlo a disagio fino alla fine.
