Wheeler’s hand shot up in the air again. “I’m sorry,” –she didn’t sound sorry at all to talk before being given permission– “but while we are on the topic of exceedingly rare statistics, could you perhaps expend more on Sigmas? I read about it once, and I can’t say I quite understood what it entailed exactly,” she finished with a sweet, dimpled smile and expectant eyes that just demanded answers. Man, she really had balls of steel.
Ms Moore spoke up. “It is not the topic of this lecture, Miss Wheeler.”
“Yes, ma’am, I know, but I read in a book that it is possible for a male to present as an omega, and," her eyes shined with a determined glint, maybe even greed, “for a female to present as an alpha.”
What? Steve thought, more than a little flabbergasted. That must be complete and utter bullshit.

Summary
A boy had appeared out of thin air in the space opposite him, mirroring Tom’s position. He looked to be around Tom’s age, perhaps a bit younger, and Tom noticed that he was dressed in Hogwarts robes, but of a different cut—for one thing, he was missing the required vest and tie. He had messy black hair and handsome features, the pinnacle being a set of extraordinarily green eyes that peered at him in shock from behind round spectacles.
Tom Riddle's attempt to create his first Horcrux in June of 1943 goes awry. Rather than going into the diary as intended, his soul fragment is absorbed by a strange boy who appears out of thin air during a crucial part of the ritual. Now, Tom has a prisoner from 1996—a living Horcrux—to contend with, on top of making sure the school doesn't close early due to the basilisk attacks.
And Harry? Well, Harry's just trying to get back to his own time and the desperate battle he left behind to keep the prophecy out of Death Eaters' hands at the Ministry of Magic. As long as he can survive teenage Voldemort in the meantime...
In which Tom Riddle seizes a golden opportunity dropped in his lap, and everything changes as a result.

Barely out of mourning, the widowed Elizabeth--now a mother--propositions Mr. Darcy, seeking nothing more than bodily comfort. Although she gets that comfort, she also gets more than she bargained for when he proposes marriage (for a second time).

He looked out toward the sea. "I thought it better not to intrude by presuming your notice after--" he faltered, then said with effort, "after all that has passed between us. I believed it would be unwelcome."
"Is it your habit," she asked with the faintest smile, "to determine a lady's preferences without consultation?"
