Summary
The Emperor is standing in Perturabo’s workshop. This is impossible for several reasons, not the least of which is that Perturabo is on Medrengard and the Emperor is a corpse on Terra.
(Perturabo talks to the Not-Emperor about why he chose Chaos, and why he doesn’t worship them like his brothers.)

Summary
Perturabo is gone, along with a good chunk of the Fourth's ground forces. Not dead, just gone. The Hrud are defeated, and Forrix is now the highest ranking person in the Legion, and it's up to him to keep his brothers and his people together.
Roubute isn't sure how he's supposed to handle the shattered Legion that Horus sends to him with no warning. Magnus is tearing his hair out. Horus doesn't know why Roubute is mad at him; what does he mean Perturabo's GONE?

The Emperor has Malcador. Guilliman needs one too.
Story is about a Malcador-level-smart woman helping Guilliman rebuild the Imperium. Mostly a fantasy about competent governance without downplaying (too much) of the canon grimdark. No idea if anyone else likes this but I need to get it out of my system.

Summary
It was odd, though not unpleasant, to be here with him like this, to have shared a meal at the same table. He could almost forget that he was in the presence of nobility. For a passing instant, they felt less like a baron and his attendant and more like friends.
Edwardian era Historical AU in which Soap is the wayward heir to a Scottish barony, and Ghost is a manservant who has been sent by another noble to get him under control. There's a little bit of everything in this one, but above all else it is a love story.
