Summary

Summary
Feng Xin just wants a quiet evening in Mu Qing's company, when suddenly a scantily-clad Xie Lian statue interrupts them. Luckily, Xie Lian and his gremlin husband come to collect it, but before leaving, the statue touches Feng Xin and Mu Qing. This makes a certain red string visible, which then leads to unexpected events.

A child no older than five stared at Mu Qing, peeking with large, tear-filled eyes from around the boundary wall of a ruined cottage. It took him by surprise; he hadn’t expected anyone to be alive. The charred remains of a village tormented by a demon were not a place for a child.
Mu Qing and Feng Xin accidentally acquire a child; they have to work together or suffer her screaming.

Upping the ante, Mu Qing moved to rest his foot firmly on Feng Xin's thigh. The muscle beneath his touch tensed. Mu Qing glanced at him revealing the rest of him to be as tense as his leg. Above the table, he froze in place and his hands were fisted upon the table. Bingo. A chill rolled down his spine with the realisation that he could hold so much power with a simple action. What else could he make him do?
Mu Qing teases Feng Xin during a meeting and Feng Xin tries not to lose his mind.

Summary
Photos with other people left a bitter taste in Pei Ming’s mouth, though it was to be expected when working with other celebrities. At least they always stood suitable distances apart.
However, there was one photo that caught Pei Mind’s attention. Not in a good way.
“Who is that…” Pei Ming murmured to himself.
Influencer Mu Qing accidently posts a photo on his Instagram featuring Feng Xin in the background. Curious as to where this mysterious person came from, Pei Ming proceeds to do some digging around in order to find out the identity of the stranger.

Feng Xin was incorrect. He knew what he was offering and whilst he may not have slept with anyone, he wasn’t that naive. His brow furrowed. “How can I not understand? If you don’t want it, then just say.”
“It’s not that I don’t want it, Dianxia.” Feng Xin said after an awkward pause. “But your cultivation? All your hard work, gone to waste.”
Xie Lian frowned. It wouldn’t be a waste.
Xie Lian is getting anxious thinking that Feng Xin is going to leave him, so offers his body as a bribe to stay

Feng Xin looked just as surprised. His hands were covered in dough and a smudge of flour covered the bridge of his nose. “Making breakfast for us…?”

When Xie Lian and Feng Xin don't hear from Mu Qing for a while, they go to look for him.
