Summary

This fic is so important to me in such a deep level I can’t even explain it properly. I really love how it has such a focus on mental health and wellbeing that makes you want to get better with Akaashi as you read it. As someone that has gone through similar experiences as Akaashi (I won’t say cuz spoilers) is so important to me seeing it displayed in a such realistic way.
I love how his relationship with Bokuto and with himself grows with every chapter, the deep talks, the scenes, descriptions… is all so beautiful. I read this on a plane and I just kept reading and reading because I was so engrossed in the story I couldn’t stop even if I was falling asleep.
I would say that if you’re sensitive to some topics you should check the tags properly before reading, but I really recommend this fic as it has been so important to me!

This fic is genuinely so good, not only on the romance aspect of it but the story itself! I could read this as a novel if it wasn’t on here and I keep being so interested in what is going to happen next with every chapter!

The more times I reread this fic the more I love it. I have it downloaded and from time to time when I don’t have internet I just read it over and over and I can’t even begin to express how much I love this series. The way characters are explored from different perspectives, how the industry is talked about and how you can see all the struggles but also the good things in it is so important to me.
This first fic introduced me to a saga of fics that keeps surprising me with its greatness but it was this first one that made me fall in love with the series.
If you’re a BokuAka fan I’d say this is definitely a must read.

Summary
Kei thought if he was a body of water, his colour would be hazy white blue like the colour of water of the ocean in Sendai, unremarkable and dull. And Tadashi’s colour of water would be lively, rich, and wonderfully brazen like the colour of the ocean in Okinawa.
As if being a teeanger was not stressful enough, Kei discovers that being a young adult can be equally as confusing, especially when a certain childhood best friend makes a surprising re-appearance in his life, opening old wounds that never properly healed.
This is a coming-of-age story about friendship, love, and a journey to self-acceptance and forgiveness, set in the beautiful landscape of Japan.

This is genuinely one of the best fanfics I’ve ever read like ever, you can tell the writer’s love for the piece and the places it takes on, it’s just so so great made me almost cry a few times and tell of excitement.
I recommend it to everyone who likes this ship and writing in general, it’s really the best!
