In my Love Is A Tyrant AU, the Archdevil Zariel has the skull of Alaundo the prophet in her possession and is sometimes able to convince his weaveghost to commune with her.
Alaundo died in 76 DR, the Year of the Windsong, and his skull ended up in Zariel's possession in 1372. It remains there to this day.
She enters into a trance, alone, because in that state, she becomes temporarily highly suggestable, and though she is not vulnerable per se, for a very short time, information can be gleaned from her without her knowledge.
Raphael used this to his advantage once, whispering apotheosis diaboli to her while she was in a trance. This is what he heard...
