After a turbulent and emotional break-up with your long-term partner, you do something unusual for yourself. You go to the bar to attempt to drink and distract away the pain. You don't even like the bar scene. Or even drinking for that matter. But with how lost and betrayed you feel by your ex, you really didn't see any other option.
What you didn't anticipate happening from the shittiest day of your life was meeting a tan-skinned hunk with chocolate eyes smoldering like fire and a voice as smooth as butter. And how after meeting him you began to wonder if it was the best day of your life instead.

Summary
Gerard Way is your average outcast at school. He's bullied, has a couple of friends, and likes to keep to himself. Gerard is also socially awkward. It's just the start of a normal senior year of high school for Gerard. He expects it'll be exactly the same as all the previous years of school. His views on his senior year changes when he meets his new Chemistry teacher: Mr. Iero.

Frank Iero was lucky enough to be able to get a teaching job as soon as he got out of college for the dreaded subject of Chemistry teaching. He's happy with his life. His job is able to pay his bills for his small house, and he's also a guitarist and singer in his own band: The Cellabration. Frank is positive with teaching high school chemistry, that not a single student is going to give a crap about him. When he sees Gerard Way walk into his class that first day of school, he senses something special.

Summary
Living in Arizona your life was simple. Help your parents run their saloon and rid the town of crime. Something was strange though, your pa had visits with a group of odd folk. You didn’t know who they were but had a bad feeling. Your parents suddenly went on a business trip and you were left to running the saloon with your aunt. What takes your surprise next is when that group reserved a spot in your saloon.
(This was written on a whim so the first 2 chapters are short. I got more into the groove later in the story so enjoy :)

Your eyes meet his. "I have the feeling I'll be getting your money either way," you say casually, turning the card machine towards him. "Will that be cash or card?"

Or, Levi Ackerman thinks flowers do nothing but cost a shit ton of money, carry around bugs, and then die, thereby defining them as pointless. But then he meets you, and while they're still all of those things, maybe they have a different definition.

Summary
A coffee shop and an extracurricular weren't something you desired (or considered) to endure during your first year of university, it just happened, poor judgement one could say.
But was it his own share of poor judgement that led him to spike you in the side with his thorn-tangled body, numbing you from his presence? Or was it yours that led him to become softer-edged?
Or maybe, he just didn't have an ounce of goddamn social awareness, and neither did you.
