Summary
Xiao really wants to finally try taking advice and have a taste of a life as a free being. The problem is, he doesn't know how. A trip to Liyue Harbor suddenly becomes a great opportunity to get to know someone, who probably understands freedom better than anyone in Teyvat. With evening talks, laughs and trips, Xiao starts to get the general idea, becoming more open even to Hu Tao's antics. But when there are feelings involved, he becomes lost all over again, searching for someone to share his emotions with for the first time he can remember. “Malik, you don’t have to call me ‘Master Tighnari’; we’ve known each other since we were kids.” Was Tighnari flush? Was it the heat? No, it was perfectly comfortable in the hut. Although maybe by the stove it was warmer. That must be the case because Cyno refused to think that Tighnari was blushing as he pushed at Malik.
And Cyno strained to hear, but definitely heard Malik when he whispered to Tighnari, “I kind of like calling you master, Master Tighnari.”
Cyno’s eyes darted to Collei who looked equally uncomfortable at the exchange, shifting in her seat and pointedly looking into her tea. Cyno nudged her gently. He and Collei excelled at communicating with body language and facial expressions to be discreet around Tighnari since any whispering would definitely be heard. He gave her a look that read very clearly: ‘what the hell is that?’
It is Cyno's job to make puns and take care of Tighnari. When a new comer starts challenging him and flirting with Tighnari, Cyno is forced to confront his own feelings as he learns more about Valuka Shuna anatomy.

Viktor fixed his collar back to hide the blotchy red skin.
“Why didn’t you wake me?” Jayce exclaimed, reaching out to grab Viktor’s arm.
Viktor didn’t shrug Jayce off entirely, but resumed his intense interest in the discarded prototypes, “I thought you were awake,” he said quietly. His ears had turned a ghastly shade of pink, nearly mirroring the myriad of bites on his neck.
