Summary
It was obvious what she saw in Tain Hu. Most women who loved women saw it, too – after all, she had so effortlessly courted a good number of the divers and actresses. But she struggled to understand what Hu saw in her. The long winter of marching and hunting had left her sharp and lean, but there was nothing special about her. She was an imperial accountant, a turncoat and a traitor; Hu was unwise to trust her, let alone bring her into her bed. But for some reason, Hu spied something in her, something that made her worth loving and worshiping. And for tonight, she wouldn’t let herself question it any further. For tonight, she belonged to Tain Hu, and Tain Hu belonged to her, and they were the only people in the world.

Summary
Baru hated when the dukes saw her as nothing more than a vessel to prolong their bloodline. She hated the way they had looked at her—whether it was because they lusted after her body, or simply the power she could offer them. Sometimes it felt like no matter what she did during the rebellion, they didn’t care about her as a woman, as a person, but as a political tool, or a toy just barely worth their attention. And the very idea of bearing their children was abhorrent beyond belief. It made her sick even thinking about it.
So why, when Tain Hu wanted her to carry their heir, did it feel so good?

Summary
Adora was staying at Glimmer’s tonight, and she had assumed it would be like most nights they spent together - they’d order takeout from whatever local restaurant they were craving, watch a goofy gay rom-com in their pajamas, then lazily make out in each other’s arms before playfully arguing over who gets to be the big spoon. Tonight, they had ordered Chinese (Glimmer laughing hysterically as Adora tried and failed to figure out how to use chopsticks) and watched Booksmart while snuggling beneath blankets. So far, so good.
But this makeout session... was different, in ways that were both exciting, and nerve-wracking.

Summary
“But are you enjoying yourself?”
Of everything that session, those words made her feel the most loved and cherished. Glimmer felt so safe doing these sorts of things with Adora, because she always had her best interests in mind.
Or, Glimmer experiments with magic while Adora is away in space.

Summary
To Adora, Glimmer was a goddess, as nothing in the cosmos compared to her. She practically worshiped her and all her beauty, and felt unworthy of her love. Yet, to Glimmer, Adora felt unreachable. Glimmer felt she didn't deserve her unconditional love. All of that would change one night.
Spinoff of my fic, ADORA: Vagabond of the Etherian Cosmos.
