So one minute, I'm a normal person wandering a strange building, and the next, I'm a jumbled mess with a triangle for a head. It's been months, maybe even a year? I've lost track. This ringmaster is [SPLASH]ing me off, there's a new girl and Jax is having issues. I don't know what's gonna come out of this but I've got the feeling it isn't good.

Summary
Luke *wants* to be better. He's working to be better. But he can't help the feeling of being a burden to those around him who want to help him be better.
How does one let help in when one's spent so long helping himself?
He wants to believe they're helping but the him in his mind is too much, too loud, too *persuasive* and it's getting harder and harder to ignore it, to not drip himself dry but dammit he *wants* to get better.

Summary
In a mystical world where magic, dragons, witches, and dragon witches exist, soulmates bear words on their skin that they've heard used to describe them until they touch one another. If the soulbound have magic or other abilities of their own, they do not come into their full power until after meeting their soulmate.
Virgil, the son of a navy captain, is expected to be perfect, and to do so, must hide the array of words adorning his skin. The fact that they appear in five different colors is quite distressing, and his father would surely hate him if he knew about them.
Across the ocean, a pirate ship named The Arcane Queen, manned by five already very powerful lovers, is hunting for their last remaining soulbound. They are known as The Legion, feared by humanity and mystical creatures alike as they scour the oceans for any news or trace of their missing piece.
After all, the purple words that appear on their skin are quite concerning.

First fanfic I read on this site and GODDAMN it did not dissapoint. I can never get enough of pirates and pirate AUs and the angst and fluff moments are just AAAAAAAAA. Such a peak fic frfr
