    Ferdinand receives the Grutrissheit in his fourth year at the Royal Academy and decides to actually use it to become Zent.

    A Zent as young as him requires a reputation of harshness to protect himself from being exploited. He does not have the luxury to show compassion or mercy nor does he actually feel the need.

    He does not care that he is instead the one who uses those weaker than him such as that Devouring girl that wants to become a blue shrine maiden or that dreadful girl that Aub Klassenberg wants to push on him at all costs.

    At least in his hands they can be useful.

    Urano in different weave, time, and place of birth. When you are born in a poor duchy close to the bottom, reading has to be postponed because you have to fill up the bellies of your people and the homemaker's skills and crafts Mom drilled in her have the chance to shine.

    The problem? Leading a bottom duchy as a lady is an impossible game, so she's gotta be a he! At least Meinwald makes for a very pretty boy, and her junior is very cute even though sometimes... the angel-like Ferdinand gives her very heated looks that makes her heart flutter.

    “If you want something that is not available, just make it yourself”. In this case 'something' is 'Part 6 of Ascendance of a Bookworm'.

    It is the beginning of autumn before Rozemyne's final year at the Royal Academy. The other aubs had not reacted kindly to her revealing the second path to the foundation, so she had spent the last season in her castle. While that was beneficial for her safety it allowed rumors of a puppet aub to spread in Alexandria's noble society. But when she is finally able to resume “normal” operation and meet her family again she instead learns that Tuuli is in grave danger and there is only so much Rozemyne can do.

    Tuuli needs support, new retainers need to be selected, rumors need to be kept under control, printing has to be spread, graduation and a starbinding have to be planned, some subtly groundbreaking innovations need to be developed, and was Ferdinand's smile always so inviting and his mana so comforting? And why is this list lacking time for reading books?!

    Note: No spoilers for Hannelore's Fifth Year. I handle it with an assumed outcome of “everybody is safe and happy” and keep it deliberately vague for any events and decisions made there.
