Summary
"Women rule Westeros, whilst the value of men lay in their marriage, ability to run a farm and a household, and to give their wives daughters. This turns out to be just as bad as the patriarchal system in canon, since everyone still schemes and kills each other to see who will sit the Iron Throne. Five times a matriarchy wouldn't magically solve every problem in Westeros, and maybe one time it turned out all right."

Summary
When Dorne became one of the Seven Kingdoms, they agreed to replace the Westeros Law of Inheritance with the Dornish Law, so that the same laws would be followed throughout the realm.
Or,
Five times there was no male primogeniture in Westeros, and this wasn't as helpful as you might expect.

Summary
“Men should think twice before making widowhood women's only path to power.”
She did not even ask him, never asked him, but he did it anyway. He followed her around dutifully, slinging a bow and arrow over his slumped shoulders and holding a sword in his broken hands.

Summary
"After she is raped by the Lannister guardsmen (as commanded by Tywin), Tysha is spirited away from the Rock by Genna, Gerion and Tygett, who take her to the Spicers, where Maggy cares for her. Genna cannot visit often, because Tyrion is ill with fever and they fear for his life. But the uncles go there, to keep track of her welfare--Tygett for one is livid with Tywin, for the harm he has done Tyrion and the girl. They soon learn from Maggy that Tysha is pregnant--she gives birth to twins(Joy and Podrick), but dies soon afterwards. Gerion takes Joy to Casterly Rock with him, claiming her as his bastard daughter, while Tygett gives Podrick to a distant branch of the Paynes to raise; the couple, although married for years, have had no children...."
