He had already thanked her when she gave it to him, but it seemed important to him to reiterate it.
“I don’t have any spending money, I have 17 knuts in savings total and the book is four sickles, but I can get you a butterbeer if you want later.”
She suddenly realised he wanted to get her a book. A book he picked out for her, one that he has read. Not a schoolbook, either, though she was very grateful for the one she got for her birthday last year. He wanted her to read this particular book.
Aka. Ron and Hermione goes shopping in Hogsmeade.
