Summary

In a small town in Maine, Remus Lupin has his routine down. He grabs coffee with his best friend Lily every morning at nine, and then works at a diner in the afternoons until closing, though his boss has now informed him that she has hired someone new, James Potter, who will have the same shifts. One morning, Remus finds himself driving his little sister to soccer camp very late and in a very questionable outfit. When he gets there, the camp counsellor and soccer coach, Sirius Black, stands at the door with a clipboard, crossing off the names of the kids as they arrive.
Sirius, notoriously known for his magnetic personality and the dangerous glint in his eye, goes after what he wants, and when they start "something" -- whatever it is -- with Remus, they both find themselves unable to get enough, even if it was supposed to be casual. Is anything really ever casual, though?
Lots of yapping, lots of joking, lots of nights at the diner eating ice cream and singing, and lots and lots of love.

Nothing Personal. Just Business. is a satirical, absurdist corporate dark comedy about capitalism as theater, leadership as delusion, and the thin line between motivational speech and weaponized nonsense.
Expect office nihilism, grotesque humor, existential monologues, surreal rites of employment, and a protagonist trying to preserve his sanity in a world that demands applause.

“As painful as it would be for all of us to see you go, you deserve this chance, if you want it. You deserve to be happy and free of the war, Hermione.” He pulled away and held out another offering in the form of a pamphlet. “In case you choose to stay.” She nodded, only glancing down at the document once he’d rounded the corner.
