Princess Charlie Morningstar enacted the Littles Protection Act (LPA) as a way to keep all of Hell's registered Littles safe from abuse and exploitation. Anthony Esposito, known as "Angel Dust" or simply "Angel", was abandoned by his father and brother at a shelter due to his classification. He was abused there by several staff members and other residents until he eventually learned to suppress his regression as a coping mechanism. However, when Angel thinks that all hope is lost, a moth Overlord named Valentino comes in to take him off the streets.
Overlord Husk has always wanted a Little of his own, but he was unable to find the perfect one. When Husk and Angel meet one day at the Ace of Hearts Casino, they immediately hit it off, but he was unaware of how many secrets Angel was hiding.
