Summary
It was supposed to be a simple heist. Sneak inside the countess estate, retrieve the ring and get out. If only Valric knew that he was playing into the hands of a sinister party, maybe he wouldn't have taken the contract. Too little, too late. He went into her home and failed. The countess wasn't someone you cross, he made that mistake and now he's got to pay. Will it be with gold or with blood? The Lady will decide his fate.
