Hans takes a moment before he replies, though he knows it costs Henry to sit in silence after such an admission. “I can not say for certain how many fathers or sons have perished in this war for kings. But what I do know is that the number is unknown for both sides, is it not? Perhaps we are no different than the praguers, than any of Sigsmund’s men, but what else are we supposed to do, Henry? Am I supposed to step aside in war and let the man in front of me slay me too?” Henry gives him a sharp look at that.
“Of course not!” he says with outrage, like the very notion of Hans' body giving way to the singing of a blade sparks the unthinkable, the unbearable. “I just mean…” Deflated words match Henry’s deflated body, as though all the will has gone out of him. “Do not say such things.”

Summary
There's a laughing fit swelling in the back of his mind as his body burns. Fire eating and tearing away his flesh and bones, hitting his core. He's screaming; vocal chords straining under the desperation and rawness blooming from within him. Izuku can see everyone staring at him from afar, scared to get too close; Shoto stands with them, face set in one of horror and trauma. He wonders briefly if Bakugo can see this, can see just how dangerous and appalling his own power could be; how devastating. Before passing out, Izuku wonders why All for One is looking down on him, a smile stretching across his skin despite the fact his mask is securely in place. He drowns as someone screams his name.

Summary
Tommy thinks of his God standing before him in all the glory that shimmers behind him. Wonders if he can maim him just like his God did to him, or at least take and take until his God is on his knees and begging like Tommy has done so many times prior. Instead Tommy's shirt soaks with blood and his eyes flutter tiredly as his God rampages and sobs. The mask is gone and yet all Tommy can see is the blank slate of green appearing where there should be liveliness in those pupils.
Or where we take a dive in Tommy's mind about the puppeteer of the Dream SMP and how it affects him.
(Just wanted to clarify, the God is just a symbol I used because I thought it befitting)

Summary
Armin and Jean stand on two polar opposite sides of the battlefield, reaching forward in an attempt to clasp their fingers together. Jean's hands are marred with blood and death, dripping from his very soul and etching to the floor. Armin doesn't mind, not when he can't see it like Jean can. Not when everything is so messed and convoluted that Armin appreciates any small amount of time with Jean. Diving into the criminal underworld and screaming into the void wasn't a mistake... it was a path. Connecting two souls forever even if they don't know it.
