After a few weeks, Aaron decides that it’s quite easy to ignore Robert’s existence. Aaron was worried, sure, but in the weeks since he returned Aaron has managed to see him very few times. There was that time where he saw Robert snogging a stranger, and he’s had the odd glimpse of him wandering around but Aaron’s kept his end of the deal. He’s stayed away.
It helps that he went away for a week – a work thing that he absolutely couldn’t miss – and since then, it’s been easy. He’ll see Robert around the village, gold hair shining in the sunlight, overalls wrapped around his waist showing various t-shirts that strain around his chest and arms, but it takes nothing for Aaron to look away or find somewhere else to be.or
Aaron can't stay away and it's all because of the overalls.

They'd always been good at sex.
Sex had come naturally to them, easily even. They might have been a couple of damaged men but they sure had been compatible in bed. They'd tumbled into the back of a car and never slowed down. There was never an awkward period, never a hesitation on where a hand should rest or how their bodies should come together. Instinctual, as if they'd been made for eachother. No matter what else was happening they could always count on that.
Talking was a different beast entirely.
