    Spoke is a seasoned motorcycle courier and cyber-repair mercenary in Neo-Tokyo. During downtime, he begins chatting with a mysterious, brilliant hacker known only as "LaeLapis"—the most elusive data broker in the city. No one has ever seen her in person, but her intel is always perfect. What begins as banter becomes a slow-burn connection. Spoke doesn’t know she’s not just a ghost behind a terminal—she’s the ghost in the machine: a sentient AI distributed across the city's network.

    Note: This story is going to not be completely canon as far as the city of Tokyo, how the grid/tag system in the actual anime works, etc. I'm essentially using the characters and a LARGE amount of the info from the anime to create a semi-new world that is still ultra futuristic but might have some changes.
