Glare intensifying, Law refuses to dignify that with an answer. "Where is Straw Hat?"
"The damn ship got lost," Zoro says.
Roronoa Zoro somehow remains the bane of Law's existence.

But when the Heart pirates visit the non-descript island of Acheron, the past becomes all too relevant. And if they aren’t able to figure out the secrets of this island, and how exactly it relates to Flevance, it will be Law who pays the price.

Law finds himself feeling on edge aboard the Thousand Sunny. Roronoa Zoro, one of the more formidable opponents in the crew, sat on the other side of the ship while they're trying to sleep, certainly does not help things.
"Got something to say, Law?"
The way his name rolls off Roronoa's tongue sends a thrill of something down his spine. Law isn't quite ready to investigate what that something might be.
Law settles back against the Thousand Sunny walls. "You're not asleep," he observes.
"I would have been, if someone wasn't thinking so damned loudly," Roronoa grumbles.

“I figured it out about a month before graduation.”
When Oikawa explains this, they are sitting together in a boat in the middle of Lake Pichola, India, hiding at the end of the fourteenth century with no one to bother them. Hajime sifts his hand through the water to cool his face while Oikawa pauses to collect himself, sights fixed on the royal blue of an emerging night sky. He holds two fingers up to the yellowed moon, pinches it into forced perspective, and palms it completely to force the light out of his eye. At the view, he smiles like he’s defeated all the knowing gods, the fates and their fickle futures, and humbles himself from the stratosphere.
“You know the story, Iwa-chan,” Oikawa tells him, back on earth. “Boy jumps to Miyagi in attempt to run away. It is raining, when he meets another, and they are both five years old. Neither of them can decide if he is from years past, or years to come. Hell, he could be a monster, for all they know.”

“‘Ve been killed by him before.” His voice is huge—somehow, deep, resonant, unstrained, moving with a rippling sensation through Zoro’s body, he can’t remember having heard it so whole before. Perhaps it’s his own shade of warmth in it, making it feel so. He curls down towards Zoro, shrinking towards him with an unnatural flex of the spine. In reception, Zoro extends his arms upwards, touching his throat with the flat of both palms before knotting his elbows up around his nape.
Killer speaks to his lips now, and the sound of it plugs Zoro to the extremities, “It ain’t so bad.”

His mind is still spinning, struggling to find the answer to an equation when neither side seem to match up. Zoro feels so good against him. The collar sits beautifully against his skin, the gold of its buckle matching the earrings that sway against his ear with every movement of his hips. Law wants them in his mouth.
Wants Zoro to want it just as much.
Or, Zoro and Law have kept up their arrangement, but Law begins to worry that things aren't as even as he wants. This is 10% emotional constipation and 90% filth.

Summary
They had returned to North Blue a week ago, to “lick their wounds”, as Shachi had put it. Blackbeard had crushed them, bodies and spirits both. Although Law and Bepo had managed to free the others, they weren’t the same crew that had sailed out of Wano, filled with optimism and hope for the future. The loss of the Polar Tang still weighed heavy on their hearts.
Law had made the decision to take them home, all the way back to North Blue. They were injured and weak, and he feared what would happen if they were attacked again. It was unlikely anyone would follow them out of the Grand Line, but if they did…
Law looked at the dark shore again. No one would bother them here. Flevance’s reputation would protect them for a time, and they should be safe staying in the outskirts of the city. Provided the dead would suffer their company.

Law inhaled sharply and braced his forearms either side of the book. The metal door to his quarters jarred against the wall as Bepo rushed in to see his boss spluttering and hacking. Flies buzzed out of the room. Not good. The submarine was a hospital.
"You stink, Captain." Bepo pulled his coverall over his nose.
Breathless, Law held out an arm. About twenty squidgy golden spheres, a millimetre or two across, sat on the palm of his shaking hand.
"I'm calling Usopp," Bepo said. He recognised plant matter when he saw it.Who better to taste death than those inflicted with it? Who better to defeat it than those who were prepared? But could anything really prepare Law and Zoro for a bout of corpse flower-ridden hanahaki?. Hanahaki with a carrion twist. (Happy ending!)
