Summary
A week has passed since Sirius's death and Harry is not allowed to grieve. His friends think he is ridiculous, and when he tries to open up to them, they abandon him. Harry wants to be alone, but Magic had other plans it seemed. Swept through a mysterious corridor, Harry finds himself in the past and staring at an old enemy in a new light. Finding comfort in the arms of what he thought was his enemies, Harry began to reflect on everything he thought he knew as he slips into the Dark.

Summary
Sick of the Dursleys and resolved to missing his few friends if it means getting away from the people of the Wizarding World and their nosy whispers, Harry gets the idea to leave it all behind for a while, just a bit, just for a rest. Like a camping trip, except he’ll take enough provisions for a year or so...maybe some plants, seeds and things for a little garden. Maybe some time away from the things that weigh him down will help the constant highs and lows he’s been feeling for a while now. Just a little break.
(Or, the one where Harry says TTFN and takes himself off on an indefinite vacation and upsets a few very careful plans.)

With that the sorting began. Tom only listened with half an ear as his focus was on the Potter Heir. Like the others from Nightingale his magic was wound tightly around him.
McGonagall called out suddenly, "Potter, Harrison!"
With that the Potter Heir made his way up to the stool. The hat was dropped on his head and they waited.
For only a moment before the hat called out, "Slytherin!"
With that the Great Hall erupted in anger.
