Summary
"I actually was thinking of your PowerPoint presentation to Mercedes."
That immediately caught George's attention. He propped himself up on his elbow to look at Max with a mixed of surprises, confusion, and disbelief. Max knew he'd thrown him off balance, but he couldn't help laughing at it.
"Are you, by any chance, taking notes to put together your own presentation for a seat at Mercedes? Should I be worried you're coming for my seat?"
George knew Max wouldn't. He'd never been interested in that, not even remotely. In fact, the reality was quite the opposite—and the very circling thought in his head non-stop, that was bothering him now.
Because what's the point of circling over and over again for something that wouldn't happen? And never will for his own fault.
Or:
After his devastating crash in Silverstone, Max can't stop thinking like a broken record if the decision of not being part of the 'Mercedes family' was the right call for him. While at the same time, he clung with teeth and nails to create a safe place for him and his Mercedes boy.

Summary
Sometimes, what Lily most expected was for the race to end.
Yes, it was never easy to see Alex so beat down when he was nothing but sunshine in a flower field in spring. However, when the ‘3 musketeers’ —how she loves to call them— share the same dark fate, it’s almost unbearable. It almost seems like that was the only way for them to be together again.
And it wasn’t fair… it wasn’t fucking fair. And again, she must bite even harder her tongue for not cursing all the Gods she knew.
A 2019 rookies' pity-party sleepover, to help them find the light at the end of the tunnel.
