Summary
After wasting away at Joja Corp, your famer finally gets the out she needs and takes over her grandfather’s old farm in Pelican Town. Farm life is everything she could’ve ever hoped for, quiet, cozy, and free, and everyone in town has been so friendly and welcoming. That is, besides him. Despite the mysterious walls that Shane seems to have built around himself, your farmer can’t seem to get him off her mind. In her innocence, she pursues him. She hopes she can get him to open up to her in a way that he hasn’t with anyone else in the valley, not knowing all the while that he’s hiding something dark from her. When her friends express worry, she’s confronted with the dilemma of choosing her explosive, passionate, and potentially obsessive lover over the tranquil life that she thought she wanted. Will Shane’s love be too much? Or will she decide that she’s just as toxic as he is?
