Summary
“A-Cheng! They’re back!” Wei Wuxian exclaimed during the second week of his stay in Lotus Pier. They, along with Jin Ling, were currently taking an early-morning boat ride along the Pier.
“What are you even talking about?” Jiang Cheng snapped fighting the urge to push his brother off of the boat.
“Who’s back?” Jin Ling asked, staring at his Uncles intently.
Wei Wuxian shook his head and then grinned, pointing to Jiang Cheng’s face and ignoring his little brother’s attempts to flick the finger away. “Not who. I meant your freckles, A-Cheng! They’re back!”
Jiang Cheng froze. Jin Ling gasped, “I haven’t seen these on you since I was a kid, Jiujiu!”
Jin Ling reached out to poke the darkened spots scattered across Jiang Cheng’s face while Wei Wuxian cooed at how “cute” they were.
Jiang Cheng was absolutely mortified.
