Summary
Damen's been waiting years to find out how his favourite fantasy series ends. The enigmatic author's finally finishing things off, and he's at a bookshop in Arles bright and early on release day, hoping to get his hands on a copy (limited edition with the golden spine, accept no substitutes). When that hope quickly turns to despair, however—sold out, in this day and age?!—he finds himself embarking on a side quest, instead. If he's paying attention, Damen will see this story's got a bit of everything: heartbreak, mystery, a villain(ous bookseller), and even a potential new love interest.
Let's just hope the ending's worth the wait.
