I had had it all.Now I still have the job and the apartment, but without her, none of it means anything.
Or: A one shot of how I think Conrad would react to losing the love of his life way too soon. Inspired (very loosely) by some aspects of the movie One day (2011) only mentioned it in case you notice some similarities, but in this story everything about the show its canon.

It had taken a little while for it to feel like this again whenever we were all here together-comfortable and easy and content. Taylor and Steven’s gregarious relationship helped a lot in the beginning, especially until Jere started bringing his girlfriend to the summer house. Now, everything felt right and as it should be. One-shot of life post-epilogue of TSITP. Show compliant. Book, pretty compliant with some minor squinting. Bonrad. Staylor. Jeremiah/OC.

Belly doesn't run after Conrad in Paris but it doesn't mean their story is over.
I wasn’t naïve enough to believe anymore that I could ever actually evict him from my heart. He was woven too deep into the tissue and muscle to ever do that. That didn’t mean I had to let my heart be in charge anymore though. Growing up meant learning to listen to your head, too. And that was what I was trying to do. What I had to do. When he’d mentioned forever, something inside me froze. I wasn’t ready for that with him. Not yet. Not when we’d gone from a year of silence to talking about forever in twelve hours. It scared me shitless.
