While sailing in the New World, the Strawhat pirates come across a tone dial floating along the surface of the ocean. Curious, Luffy reaches out and presses the button. From the dial comes the whimpered pleas of help from a young girl hiding from the militia and leaders of religious organization called, "The Shepherd's Chosen." Pleas to come to their ship, the Carcosa, to rescue her and her sister—before something terrible happens.
It was supposed to be a simple rescue mission—but like with most things, it never is that simple.
