The room is quieter than the corridor, even with the door open, so Cuti’s ears have no trouble picking up the short, breathy sound of someone moaning. He whirls around and his breath stops, his mouth dropping open.

Cuti feels his heart stutter as he takes in the scene. The first thing he notices is the gleam of moonlight hitting bare skin.
