  A month after Alfred proposes to Wilhelmina, they attend a dinner party thrown by his parents. When Drummond is brought up by the guest of honour, Wellington, Alfred finds himself still in the fog of grief. A well-needed conversation with his father may tear up unhealed wounds but also offer relief.

  Set during season 3 episodes 4 and 5.

  Alfred is delighted to join Prince Albert on his trip to Cambridge, where he can enjoy the company of fellow fine learned young men well versed in the arts. Perhaps he will enjoy himself a little too much, trying to run from his ghosts. Failing to find resolution there, or at home with Wilhelmina and his child, he pays a visit to the last place he had imagined, in search of answers. Will he find a resolution to alleviate the pain of his past?

  Summary

  What's that? The air in France compelling Drummond and Alfred to loosen up a little and flirt a bit more openly. Cigar innuendos and sexy dreams torment Drummond's poor soul (and awaken his body...) as he wrestles not only with a very naked Alfred in the lake but the societal pressures on his shoulders. But all is well if it ends well.

  And it does because I am tired of dead LGBTQ characters.

  Inspired by Alfred smoking in ep 2 of season 3. We are blessed.

  Summary

  Drummond and Alfred have been seeing each other for a while and have been perfectly happy, thank you very much. However, their idyll lasts until Drummond begins to hear a man's name mentioned all the time around Alfred, sparking jealousy in him, and a minor misunderstanding ensues.
