The first time you see it, you want to lick it. It’s nothing fancy. Not really. Just a plain old zippo, one you’d find at any gas station checkout. But it’s not so much how it looks, no. It’s how he looks holding it. His long fingers, his big hands. How he flicks open the top without a care, how he lights the butt, letting it sizzle a few seconds too long, his dark eyes watching yours as your pupils dilate.
