Summary
The child has no name, only a barcode of the lab rat they once were. The soldiers around them stand taller, and wider, yet the child leads. Not one soldier there can overpower them, not even the full group.
Famine has long since struck. Everything and anyone was food now. Soldiers in bunkers would stalk their injured comrades, waiting for the moment they passed to sink teeth into their flesh. Violence for violence is the rule of this land. You are born from it, made into warriors from it, and undone from it. The world here thrives on it, human affinity is always bound to it. Morality an afterthought as everyone claws at the chance of survival.
The world outside is hell, but it is freer than the confines of the empire. Many would rather die standing than live on their knees groveling in fear from the king that once ruled, for he is the most violent one of all. No one, not even children, were safe from his dear cauldron-born.
And the Seven within them can only guide them.
