Summary
Timothy and Abraham come as a set. That’s just the way it is.
Tim doesn’t remember a time when the two of them weren’t together. Abe is there through all the lectures, Abe is there all the times Tim’s father had locked them in the closet, Abe is there to watch the Graysons fall. Jack and Janet Drake expect their son to grow out of his “imaginary friend” phase, but that day never comes. The boys figure it out eventually, though. They're smart, and after all, two heads are better than one.
Abe isn’t invisible; Abe is dead. A ghost.
In some ways, that makes a lot more sense.
-----
tim has a silly ghost brother and they are besties and i love them.
this story explores a lot of the parts of batman that are conflicting, uncomfortable, and often undiscussed. but i do think it's worth examining how absolutely insane the situation inherently is.
