(Yn) is a post-doc working her first job in her field of microbiology at Umbrella. While not ideal given their history they were hiring and she didn’t have many options. While carving out her place to work she stumbled upon an old journal labeled O. E. Spencer that mentions the existence of an ancient mold located in Romania. Excited at a potential new research opportunity (Yn) jumped at the chance to prove herself in her field. She had no idea what proving herself would cost.
