But it just paid so well, too well for him to ever consider seriously stopping. So he’d simply grit his teeth and got it along with and soon it just became another kind of normal, just another job in a string of taxing and thankless jobs that he could disassociate mid-way through the second he got on his back. There was no use regretting it and feeling sorry for himself, he’d thought, not when it allowed him to keep paying rent, to buy groceries, to keep Yoohyun safe and happy and well-fed.
