Richie dies saving Eddie, and Eddie is really upset about it. He tries to kill himself because the guilt eats him alive, but oh no, Richie is alive? Eddie is really embarrassed about what happened and he begs the losers to lie to Richie about why he's in the hospital. Some of them are better at lying than others.
