Based on a Tumblr prompt: In a world where everyone have daemons I am willing to bet money on the fact that Bilbo would need to scoop Thorin’s daemon up for safe keeping during the first run in with Azog and the Eagles. Because Thorin’s daemon is going to be something p small and fluffy (with sharp claws, mind, I’m thinking owl) and Bilbo will need to protect him as well as Thorin (It's a lot longer, but this is the gist).

Summary
