Buck’s still grinning, but now he’s narrowed his focus to Eddie, a laser zeroing in. It makes Eddie go hot all over.
“You want some?” His voice is lower than it was a minute ago.
“I do.”
“Help yourself.” Buck leans back a little, hands out. A welcoming gesture.
Eddie crosses his arms over his chest. It makes his uniform sleeves strain over his biceps, and he sees Buck’s gaze flick downward. Something alien has taken hold of him, and it wants to push Buck a little more, see what kind of reaction he can goad him into. “Why don’t you cut it for me?”
OR: Buck is happy to be back at work. Eddie’s happy he’s back. Things escalate.

"What, um," Buck says. He looks down, licks his lips, then glances back up at Eddie. "What do you want me to do instead?"
Eddie breathes out shakily. He doesn't have—he didn't have a plan, not really. But Buck is warm under his hand, watching him with something unexpectedly docile and yielding in his face, and when Eddie presses down on his shoulder experimentally, no words on his tongue at all, Buck slides down to his knees as easily as if Eddie had given him an order to do it.
