Summary
"Repeat that for me," Derek finally said. His eyes bore into the wall across the way - the one that held their favorite photo. It was a disastrous shot, taken only seconds into the cliched cake cutting scene from their wedding. Stiles had an almost deranged grin on his face that screamed of joy, pride, and white frosting. Derek was looking down at his frosting smeared shirt, his hand a blur where it was moving to try and do damage control but would soon launch into Stiles' own hand and send another bite of cake and frosting across them both. They put that photo on the wall as it seemed to perfectly capture the chaos that enveloped their lives together. It was frustrating at times, but it was fun - always unexpected. Something they thrived on equally.
"I said," Stiles patiently responded, ending his momentary reflection on their disastrous wedding photo, "we need to get a divorce."
"Alright," Derek said, nodding, "I thought that's what you said. Now tell me why you said it."
