Fastidious in all facets of his life, Kakashi endeavored to take great care of Konoha and all of its citizens despite his best efforts to claim otherwise. Kakashi and Iruka shared the same work ethic, and thus time alone could be hard for them to come by. Iruka never contemplated holding that against the alpha, content to toil alongside him instead. He sensed that his morose thoughts and feelings were attributed to their conflicting schedules. With Konoha hand-selected to host a formal event in which all other kages would be in attendance, this conflict would only be exacerbated further.

Umino Iruka is less than pleased to learn that Konoha regulations have placed him in a Heat House until he finds an alpha with whom to break his five-year heat-free streak.
