Summary
Asriel has been living underground ever since the barrier was broken by Frisk centuries ago. As he told them, he stayed there in order to tend the flowers, but there was another reason why he decided to stay.
Ever since he felt Frisk die up on the surface, Asriel has not been visited by any human or monster. For all he knows, no one even remembers that he ever existed, and he excepted the solitude almost gratefully.
That is, until he found you lying half dead on the bed of flowers that had once broken Frisk's fall.
Asriel isn't in his child-like form in this story, he's a grown-up. -

Izuku stumbled and almost tripped onto his butt, only stopped by Katsuki’s hand shooting out on instinct to take hold of his arm and hold him steady. Muttering out his appreciation, Izuku squinted his eyes and looked around. He realized pretty quickly why he’d almost been knocked flat.
The ground under their feet wasn’t solid concrete, but sand.
When Izuku looked at Katsuki he was wearing almost an identical look of shock.
“The fuck is this?”
