Summary
“Have you ever fallen in love?” Momo asks, her voice surprisingly lacking its monotonous dryness.
Mina stiffens against her. Takes a moment. Another.
“No, I don’t think I ever have.”
“Do you want to?”
At the question, Mina looks up at her with a laugh, tapping the tip of her nose with a finger.
“I am love, silly. What kind of question is that?”
Momo nods, somehow feeling dumber after the exchange. That wasn’t a no. She stares back ahead, ignoring the weight on her shoulder, and immersing herself back into the battle unfolding before her.
She thinks back to her first words to Mina, about how love and war are intertwined.
She’s always thought about how it would be like. To stand before your enemies, white knuckled grip on a dagger, fear masked as courage. It has to happen. It’s the only way it can happen.
“Do you think you ever will?”
Momo looks back at her, gaze steady. Mina smiles.
“The universe is hardly properly designed,” she echoes Momo’s words back at her wistfully. “But I suppose I have an eternity to find out, don’t I?”

Summary
"Do you think you'd like to kiss someone beyond something brief?" Sana asked softly. She tipped her head to catch Momo's dark eyes again, offering a vulnerability she silently begged to receive in return.
The athlete swallowed, meeting the deep gaze of the brunette’s eyes and faltering under the look. Sana always had this effect on her, stirring an introspective honesty that Momo couldn't shy from.
"Yeah," Momo confessed, body still as her face reddened, voice coming out shakier than she wanted it to, "I guess I wonder about it sometimes."
OR
Momo and Sana are college freshmen who have held unsaid feelings for too long. Sitting in Momo's dorm, things start to spill out.

“I don't owe you anything just because you gave me a pencil one time.” Momo hisses before she can think better of it. Not that she would stop herself even if she did.
“Whatever. Call me when you get over yourself.” Jihyo takes her bag and is gone in a blink.
Momo feels the slamming of the door in her chest. Her heartbeat stutters and she exhales a shaking breath.
She doesn't want to apologize to Jihyo. But every bit of her heart is calling for her to chase after her.
